Hello! My name is Elisabeth McNair.
(People also call me Beth.)

I have always loved to draw. In college, I majored in drawing, painting, and printmaking, and now I'm going back to school for illustration and design.

I also love to read. Flannery O'Connor (who was born in Georgia, like me) wrote that there are two things that make good fiction:

In my illustrations, I try to create characters who appear sweet and well-mannered, but who are carrying something mysterious within.
↓
A sense of nostalgia is important in my work. I love old things, and I don't believe that the printed word is dead.
↓
However, I also think that the internet is a wonderful thing! The old and the new don't have to battle each other; they can work together to create something beautiful. My hope is to move forward, into the future, without losing what was good about the past.
